RectorSeal pipe thread sealant is a soft-set, slow drying compound which seals, lubricates and protects threaded pipe and fittings. It can be pressurized immediately for piping up through 2 inch and 100 PSI (for natural gas, air and water only) and is ideal for application with a wide variety of fluids and gases, including potable water applications. Recommended for use on threaded galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, fiberglass reinforced and PVC

A medium-strength, blue anaerobic threadlocker that secures 1/4" to 3/4" (6-20mm) metal fasteners against vibration, leaks, and corrosion. It cures in 24 hours (10 min fixture) and allows for normal disassembly with hand tools. It is ideal for machinery, motors, and automotive applications, often requiring primer on inactive metals like stainless steel or aluminum.
Loctite 242 is a medium-strength, blue anaerobic threadlocker designed to lock and seal metal fasteners (1/4 to 3/4 inch) against vibration, leaks, and corrosion. It cures in 24 hours on metal surfaces without air, allowing for removal with hand tools. It is ideal for small motors, machinery, and automotive applications, functioning between -65 and +300 F.

To lock bushings and sleeves in housings on shafts, augment press fits, or to bond any close-fitting cylindrical parts, LOCTITE(R) 609 is a good choice. The green, high-strength, anaerobic-curing retaining compound cures in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces, providing a high-strength and corrosion-free bond. Typical applications include rotor to shafts in fractional and subfractional horsepower motors.

A high-strength green, anaerobic threadlocker designed for permanent locking and sealing of studs, nuts, and bolts up to M20, particularly under heavy vibration. It works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g., stainless steel, plated surfaces) and resists minor oil contamination.
Strength: Loctite 271 provides a high-strength, permanent bond (adding about 3,000 psi holding power on slip and press fit assemblies).

Permatex's Medium-Strength Threadlocker Blue is ideal for all nut and bolt applications 1/4" to 3/4" (6mm to 20mm). Threadlocker Blue eliminates need for stocking expensive lock nuts and lock washers and locks and seals while preventing parts loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion.
